THE ASBESTOS CITY (2023)

Documentary Feature

TRAILER #1

Every town has a story to tell, and Manville, New Jersey is certainly an intriguing one. For almost one hundred years, since its founding in 1929, Manville’s territory of two square miles, built from a prosperous community of blue-collar workers and robust industry has persevered through terrible tragedy and numerous natural disasters. A microcosm of the “American story”, we explore Manville, its people, its checkered history, and what the future holds for this tiny community of average, hard-working Americans as it holds itself and its small businesses above the flood waters and amidst ever growing technological change.

Documentary Feature

Produced by New Jersey Pictures and associate produced by Joe DeVito III of Mariano Films, this documentary is an inspiring feel-good story that shows us that children have a lot to teach about music, and that a talented teacher can teach his students the most important lesson of all; within themselves is the power to do anything.

WE LOVE YOU (2009)

Documentary Short

Every summer since 1972 thousands of people co-create a temporary city deep in the wilderness of our national forests. This isn't a music festival, people are there to practice anarchy and hippy spirituality. The "main event" is an elaborate prayer for peace on July 4th. Produced New Jersey Pictures, and produced and edited by Joe DeVito of Mariano Films, We Love You documents the 2008 Rainbow Gathering in Wyoming. The Rainbows' peaceful ways are challenged when federal agents charged with monitoring them shoot pepper spray projectiles into the children's' area of the gathering.
